Thank you everyone for your prayers. After numerous tests, mom found out this morning that she has stage 4 cancer throughout her body. The doctors aren’t sure how long she has and said maybe a few months. Mom is at peace and feeling ok. She ordered breakfast and ate for the first time since Thursday. She live-streamed her church service this morning and sang along to “It Is Well With My Soul.”
This afternoon she joined the entire family on a Zoom call to share an update on what is happening. She will likely be coming home on hospice tomorrow. All of the family expressed their love and appreciation for mom/grandma/great grandma and we shared a time of prayer together. We are all very sad but thankful for a Godly mom who trusts Jesus as her savior fully.
Please pray for:
- Continued peace for mom and that she wouldn’t be in pain
- Peace and comfort for especially for dad and for all of us
- Wisdom as decisions are made about continued care
