Phonetics

Well, the first dictation test in phonetics will be tomorrow (Thursday). Please pray that I will be able to distinguish between all of the different sounds and remember how to write the correct phonetic symbols. Also, on Friday we have our first mimicry test where we have to mimic the beat, tone, and sounds of an Indonesian man speaking an Indonesian language.

Language and Society class is still my favorite because I feel like I am understanding and learning, where in phonetics class I am not sure I'm understanding what's going on. There are tons of sounds to memorize how to say, hear, and write.
