Recipe for 1 serving. Multiply as needed:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup dried blackberries
  • 3 T fructose (or 4 T date sugar)
  • 1 t cornstarch
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup (or less) bisquick or healthier substitute

Place bisquick in one ziplock bag and everything else in another.

Backcountry Preparation:
Boil 1 cup water and add berry mixture. Lower heat to just high enough to keep boiling. Knead 3 T of water into the bisquick bag.
