Hi Matthew and gang - It sure looked like you all had a great time. I think I remember snow like that at Steamboat Colorado one year. It gets so deep and it piles up to your knees and holds you back from going downhill. I loved the snowboarder that had to roll around and hop to get out of the flat spot. Tooo funny!!

Good job on the video!

Matthew,
Thank you for sharing your experiences in Alaska with us. It allows us to look into a frontier many of us only dream of visiting. Perhaps next time, you might want to take some Skin-So-Soft or citronella with you. I used it in the Georgia swamps to repel the mosquitos and ticks. You also said you couldn't find many fish...perhaps it was because it was too hot out, and they swam to deeper water, where it's cooler. This would make a great documentry!

Matthew,
Your trip log's like an explorer's diary without the nittiest grit ... I like it and I think the trip was and will be used of God, as a test of culture and character, which will serve you well the rest of your life.
Thanks for posting it. Where are you, now? Home, I am guessing and in reflection; what was most beneficial? what would you have done differently, now that you've done it?
