Our 2003 trip was even better than our 2002 trip. The fishing was much better, but still not as good as we're used to in Yosemite.

Time for trailmix! A view of where we're going - right up that valley. Creek crossing - super easy crossing for this time of year. Last spring we turned around because the water was so high. There are at least two fire rings by this lake and one campsite. Swimming and playing in the COLD water of the lake. Mouse in the stove! These critters cleaned up after us during the night.

Walking out is hard work! Stopping to get some fresh food and to call home to let everyone know we made it out! It was a wonderful trip.
