Climbing down to the entrance gate. Climbing through the gate. 'Aha! You're all my prisoners now...' Everyone's inside and the gate is locked. Careful - that's a 23 foot drop. We're going around a different way.
Climbing down a short drop. There's the gate again. Climbing down another drop. So this is why it's named 'Little Red' - but where is the 'River' part? Big walking passage.
There's a little ledge up there, about 30 feet straight up in the center of the ceiling. Anyone want to climb up there? The climb/squeeze to the ledge. Looking down at the others from the ledge. Tom climbing back down - hanging by his fingers. Suzanne climbing down.
Volcanic rock and ash that washed in. Climbing down the first lava fall. Climbing down the lava fall. Formations along the walls. More formations.
Wow, look at that color! This is where the water seeps into the cave and colors it with minerals. This is the beginnning of the Little Red River. The Little Red River. Smallest part of the cave - about three feet high. The lake at the end of the cave. Tom and Kimbree looking at the lake.
Heading back out. Another shot of the Red River. More Red More places where water comes in. Even more...
Interesting tube section. Climbing over red breakdown. Climbing up the lava fall. A picture from halfway up the lava fall. Evidence of vandalism.
