| Home Fire Safety | | Electrical Fire Safety | | Safe Landscaping | | Camping Safety | | In Case Of A Fire |

Fire safety and prevention is everyone's responsibility and therefore we all must know how to go about doing these things. This section of this web site was designed to, teach you how to be fire safe and prevent fires. There are many, many things that we do that are a fire hazard and we don't even realize it. As you look at this site, take note of the things that you need to fix and be sure to fix them as soon as possible. Home Fire Safety will teach you how to keep your home fire safe. Woodstoves and fireplaces can be very dangerous if we are not careful. Burning green wood in your woodstove or fireplace can cause a large amount of soot to accumulate in your chimney. That could cause a chimney fire. That is why you need to have your chimney checked once or twice a year by a chimney sweep. Electrical Fire Safety will teach you that you can never put out an electrical fire with water. If you try to use water on an electric fire, you can get electrocuted. You can also learn how you are supposed to put out an electrical fire, and how to prevent electrical fires from starting. Safe Landscaping will teach you how to do your landscaping so that even if a fire is burning near your home, your home might be spared. If we trim our trees away from our house, keep dry leaves and pine needles and things off of our roof, keep our trees well spaced and some other things like this our home will have a much better stand against a fire. Camping Safety will teach you about the many ways we can prevent fires and be fire safe even while we are camping. Camping is something we do for fun but we can't forget fire safety. If we do, we might not get to have fun because it would not be fun to have a forest fire start because of some fire safety mistake we made.
