Charlie has registered to run for Port of Woodland Commissioner, District #3. The election is next month, so campaign activities have kept us busy around our house lately. We’re doing most of the work ourselves: signs, posters, a web site, brochures, etc. You might be asking why he would want to run for such a position? Here’s a quote from his new web site:
"I have enjoyed living and working in Woodland for 31 years as a teacher at Woodland High School. I have gotten to know many of you as friends, students, parents, co-workers, and community members. Now I would like to branch out and give back to the Woodland community by representing you as a Port of Woodland Commissioner. I fully support the goal in the Port’s mission statement of "bringing clean industry and family wage jobs to the area while maintaining the quality of life and unique essence that is distinctly Woodland." I would appreciate your support. I need your vote on election day. Thank you."
Please visit his web site, http://www.charlesfarnell.com/, and let us know if you have any suggestions on how we can make the site better. We’re open to suggestions, compliments, or criticisms. Thank you.

Good article, good website, good family photo. I’m praying for God’s will and His glory in this matter.
Hi Charlie, good luck. Hope to see you in a cave on some raining day again. Ha! ha!
